KREMC addresses area needs with contribution to
Combined Community Services

Warsaw, Indiana…In light of the current economy and the extra needs of Kosciusko County residents as the holidays approach, Kosciusko REMC has contributed $5,000 to Combined Community Services. KREMC President and CEO Steve Rhodes presented a check to CCS Executive Director Steve Possell at the co-op this morning.

“We know there is great need to help our community this year,” said Rhodes. “We’re helping area residents in need of assistance through this donation to Combined Community Services. We know these funds will be used to help as many people as possible in our service area.”

“Being committed to our community is a key operating principle for KREMC,” Rhodes noted. “By providing this assistance, we hope we can encourage other area businesses to step up during this holiday season.”

The employees of Kosciusko REMC will be conducting a second food drive and fundraising efforts for both Combined Community Services and the Salvation Army Angel Tree program during December.

KREMC is a member-owned Touchstone Energy® electric cooperative serving over 17,000 members throughout Kosciusko County and into surrounding counties.
