SCHEDULE SL
STREET OR SECURITY LIGHTING SERVICE


AVAILABILITY
Available to any member of the Kosciusko Rural Electric Membership Corporation (KREMC) where 120 volt service exists ahead of the meter loop for the use of street lighting.

CHARACTER OF SERVICE
Dusk-to-dawn lighting service, using photo-electric controlled equipment, mast arm, street light type luminaire. Maintenance of the complete assembly and the cost of its electrical operation are included in this service. Any additional investment required by the extension of secondary lines or hanging of a transformer, for the sole purpose of this service, will require a contribution by the member.

Ornamental street lighting is not offered at this time.

Installations requiring a new transformer will be charged an additional $1.60 per month. If additional wire is required a charge of $0.50 per foot will apply.

Members having a seasonal status shall pay the Annual Charge in advance for the street or security light at the beginning of the season.


BILLING
The street or security light charge shall be plainly displayed on the member's bill by adding to his net bill the amount of the security light charge and shall be paid for at the same time and on the same terms as the member's regular bill.

TERMINATION OF SERVICE
The consumer may request termination of service and the cooperative will remove its property upon such notice with reasonable diligence. KREMC may remove its fixture and cancel security lighting service whenever such action is necessary to protect the cooperative from fraud or abuse.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
1. Service shall be provided in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Kosciusko REMC policies, bylaws and rate schedule Appendices A and B.

2. The light shall be placed in a location that can be easily asscessed by KREMC vehicles for installation, maintenance and removal work.

3. Kosciusko REMC reserves the right to assign individual members to the rate that is deemed most appropriate and fair to the membership as a whole.
