Welcome to the Advanced Metering Information Resource Center from Kosciusko REMC
In March 2012 Kosciusko REMC will begin physical deployment of advanced meters at member homes and businesses. This is part of the implementation of new AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) technology throughout our service area. The deployment is expected to take about 18 months to complete for the entire KREMC service area.
This Advanced Metering Information Resource Center has been created as part of KREMC’s commitment to keep members and the general public fully informed about the new technology and the progress of the advanced meters deployment process. It contains a variety of information materials about the project and will be updated regularly with progress reports about the installation process.
If you are new to this Information Resource Center, the Frequently Asked Questions and the corresponding responses is a good place to start to learn about AMI technology and how it is being applied locally.
